Flour Baby Galore!!!!!!!

The sixth graders in Life Skills class at my school have started Flour Babies. Yes you know what they are! The sack of flour with a diaper, and a little onesie on it, that you have to carry around for an entire week!

I think it is an awesome idea, and although I have a real baby in the house, I want a flour baby. I however am not in life skills, I’m in choir. Which, leaves me babyless. Luckily, my friend G is in life skills. She me the official godmother, of her/our baby. gaby named her Fawn. I am very excited to have a “baby” to take care of for two weeks. I will have to help change her, carry her, feed her, and watch out for her. I’m very excited!

Freddy Doo! Scooby Krueger!

My dad and I watched Nightmare on Elm Street on Friday night.

It was scary but a good movie. In the movie there is a jumprope song that goes like this:

One, two Freddy’s comin’ for you

Three, four, better lock your door

Five, six grab your crucifix

Seven, eight gonna stay up late

Nine, ten never sleep again

It is kind of creepy, especially since it stays in your head and repeats over and over in a sweet little girl’s voice all day long until, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Just kiddin’

Well anyway, there are Scooby Doos all over my dad’s room. There’s one by the computer, one in the closet, one by my bed, one on the wall, and one in the hallway. They seem to always be staring at you so we made up this song:

One, two, Scooby’s comin’ for you

Three, four, lock the doggy door

Five, six, grab your fetching sticks

Seven, eight, protect your date

Nine, ten, don’t tune in again.

It’s kind of cheesy but I like it. But the point of this was to just make sure to watch out for: SCOOBY KRUEGER!!

I Love You Dad

For school, I had to write an ode to a parent. It had to include alliteration, a simile, a metaphor, an idiom, and a contrast in nature. I chose to write about my dad. Here it is:

Dad, Thanks For

Always knowing what to do
Teaching me all the truths
Guiding me like a shepherd
Being there when I need you

Saying what should be said
Wrapping me in the warmth of the sun
Always saying break a leg

Tummy tickle time
Supporting all my hobbies
Always being an eagle

Letting your wallet walk into my hands
Driving me around the world
Introducing me to roller coasters

Giving me all that I need and more
Allowing me to discover
Joking around and having fun

You’re the dad for me!

I thought it was really sweet and will get me an A! I love you Daddy!

Hannah Montana In My Pocket

Today, when I got home from school, my dad had a surprise for me. At Rite- Aid, while waiting in line, he saw some flashy packages of cards. One of which, were Hannah Montana sticker cards!

Since I really like Hannah Montana (who doesn’t) he got them for me.

I picked my 4 favorite out of the 7. The one in the top right corner is Jackson doing his hair. The one in the upper left hand corner is Roxy as Hannah’s guardian angel. The bottom left corner is my favorite. Hannah and “Lola” making up and hugging while handcuffed. The bottom right hand corner is Miley looking adorable!

If you get lucky, there are foil stickers(1:3), glitter stickers(1:6), and mega stickers(1:2). I was somewhat lucky. I got a foil sticker which wasn’t very impressive but was shiny!
