*I know, I know, this is not Chameleon Circuit lyrics…but I needed to post it. I wrote this for a school poetry project and kinda like it. What do you think?*




Swirling through my head

are the thoughts of him


Probably more now

then when I saw him


I keep picturing

his so loving arms


Reaching out for me

when reuniting

Never again though

will his arms hold me


You can’t reunite

with a deceased boy


You can only picture

his soft angled nose


Imagine the look

he made when you smiled


Hear his unique laugh

the real and fake one


Feel his fingers cross

in and out through yours


But these thoughts are

the only sight of him



is limited now


Memories are the

only way to
