Photography is Not a Crime!

Marilyn Parver,  a 56 year old woman, was on a Jet Blue flight from New York City to Las Vegas on July 26th. She was taking pictures of the clouds out side of her window with her camera, while listening to a TV show on her headphones.

There was a small child a few rows ahead of her that had been loud for the first two hours of the flight. She heard  loud shouting all of a sudden. She toke off her headphones to investigate, and found the passenger sitting next to the loud child, yelling at the mother.

She moved over her camera to videotape them, so she could show her granddaughter how bad behavior affects others. She never stood up or left her seat, and was only recording for sound, so it was to dark to see the faces.

About half an hour later, the flight attendants were asking for witnesses, and Parver said she video taped it. The flight attendents asked her to go to the back of the plane twice. Once so they could confront her and watch the video, and the second to tell her the pilot ordered her to delete it. When she asked why, they said she had broken a law by using electronic equipment on the plane! They also refused to let her speak to the captain.

She ended up getting escorted off the plane in handcuffs, arrested after refusing to leave withount the officers and flight attendants names,  and released with bruises on her thighs and wrists.

Check out Kingman Daily Miner for the whole story.

I think the police and flight attendants were wrong in ordering her to delete the video in the first place. According to the first amendment, photography is not a crime, and she could  of kept the video if she wanted. They also made up laws like not being able to use electronics on an airplane. They also should not of accused her of wanting to put it on Youtube, when that was never mentioned. The cops and flight attendants also should of given her their names when se asked, and not threatened to arrest her.

However, she can not complain about the bruises on her wrists from the handcuffs, because she chose to be arrested and handcuffed both times. If she had just deleted the video, there wouldn’t be a problem, but she decided to stand up for her rights.

To Goth Or Not To Goth

That is the question. I was thinking about going Goth. Now before you jump all over me for reasons that I’ve already considered, read my story.

First off, I’m not talking about the always mad (or sad) “I hate the world” Goth. I’m mainly talking about fashion. I looooooove the clothes! The colors first off. The pink, red and black, go together SO well!!!! Not to mention, some of the dresses and skirts are just SO CUTE! The makeup is also really cool looking. Not to mention all the awesome accessories!

It’s not because I am giving into peer pressure, because I only know one girl at my school that is goth, and she is a grade higher than me, so I don’t even know her name let alone spend time with her. (Although I’d love to get to know her)

I’m not thinking about it to rebel, because my parents will support me in it! My dad found Goth day at Disneyland. (AKA Bat’s Day at the park)   He also was helping me look at cute clothes. My mom, said it was fine as long as she could teach me how to do my makeup.

So you may ask, then why are you thinking about being Goth. The answer is: I’m not really sure. I know I like the fashion, but other than that, I don’t have a clue.  Why do I want to be Goth? Should I or should I not become Goth? Why?

Translation From Adult To Teenager

I found an article, in USA Today from 2005. It’s called Teens Wear Their Heart On Their Blog. It is a post about teenage blogging, blogged by an adult. I am rewriting in “pre/teen speak”, because I thought it was confusing, and drawn out. Here is my version of the same post:

Millions of teenagers who grew up watching TV and hanging out online now make personal blogs, which they use as diaries. Any person, including bad, mean, evil people, can read it all. A personal teen story right in front of you.

A bunch of teens that used to use diaries, cell phones, vent to friends, get support when they’re emotional, have hangout sessions, etc., are now using blogs to express their feelings. This is considered by some adults as reality TV.

It has also been said that this is the way kids interact in the cyber age. Fifty years ago, they made phones out of string and Dixie cups to communicate. Now they have their own cell phones, e-mail accounts, and blogs.

According to people that have too much time on their hands (aka Intelliseek and other companies that look at big numbers all day) about 8 million teens blog. That number would probably be higher if you count places like Myspace blogs, which they don’t.

Blogs and sites like Myspace  have been banned at many schools. Some schools even make them delete all blogs and accounts on social networking sites (like Myspace, Livejournal, Xanga, Gaia, and Facebook) or they get suspended!!!!!

Teens have posts venting about parents and homework cussing off the roof! They share life drama, post songs up from cool bands, put up pictures of themselves looking sexy, or pretending to do drugs. They also write overly dramatic poetry, stories about their sex life, complain about their friends, and offer support. Pretty much, rant about life. Some teenagers even refer to their blog as a free psychiatrist. They write about their problems, and friends comment back.

There have been many cases when bad people have found kids who let out to0 much information. Parents are freaked. A lot of them are considered paranoid.  Parents are mainly concerned because they go to view their child’s blog, and read about how they got drunk at the beach last weekend after sneaking out.

Parents should also see the other side of it though. Teens have always rebelled, it just used to be in private and not all over the ‘net. A long time ago, parents freaked about teens reading bad books. My parents’ time was about bad movies and TV shows. Now it’s the internet.

Some blogs like Myspace and Livejournal, can only be read by your friends, but most are just open. Most bloggers are only read by a few friends anyway. Although some personal blogs have over 100 readers, they still get mad if they find out their family is reading it, because it is their diary. On the flip side, parents say that if it was a paper diary it would be hidden, and they wouldn’t snoop. This is up for the entire world to see.

With 87% of all teenagers online, it is just as much a part of their life as cars, TV, music, or friends.

Everything would be just fine if parents and teens built trust.

Try these tips for ultimate Internet safety:

  • Treat everyone you meet online as a stranger. Lying is easy online
  • Don’t put up personal information like your name, where you go to school, your age, or where you live
  • Use e-mail addresses that don’t have your name in them
  • Password protect your personal posts
  • Try to protect your identity especially in pictures
  • If you aren’t comfortable with it being up on a billboard at your school or work, don’t put it online
  • Have a friend check your site for problems
  • If your’e under13 you should have your parents checking your blog.

Isn’t that easier to read and understand?

Hasta La Pasta!!!!!!!

Mini Movie Review

Hey, I  have decided to start doing mini reviews on movies. Here’s my first one:

Fab Five: The  Texas Cheerleader Scandal (2008) (TV)

This movie is based on a true story. Most humans, have experienced part of that story in junior high or high school. Cheerleaders. Bratty, stuck up, Heathers. Everyone has always hated the cheerleaders. Sometimes, they hate themselves also. Though not usually, because everything is entitled to them, they have power, and never make mistakes.

This movie takes it to the next level. These cheerleaders get away with everything including cutting class, using cell phones during class, disobeying all teachers, drinking on school campus, and putting a nasty inappropriate video of them all over the web. In this video, they are in an adult store, drinking, and in there cheerleading uniforms being inappropriate. Their new coach tries as hard as she can to disipline them but is having trouble because the clique’s leader, is the principal’s daughter.

I’m not sure why it’s a scandal though. Nobody I have asked seems to know either. There is no murder, although many people thought so. I is a drama. That is why it was on Lifetime. It is a good movie if you like drama and catfights, and have nothing else to watch. I would agree with it’s rating of PG14.

Candy To A Whole New Level!

WOW! Some people haveway to much time on their hands! Did you know that there are buisnesses that make thing out of candy or candy wrappers! It’s crazy, but cool at the same time. Up top, I have a picture of a candy covered car!!!!! It is a Hummer covered in Skittles! The lady in the picture is the one who made it! The next picture is a car covered in M&Ms. I hope they live in the Artic or that thing will melt!

For my next trick, I shall make high heels even less comfortable than they already are! Presening: chocolate shoes!!!!!  I would think the chocolate would melt leaving a puddle of mud in your shoe. (Mud being melted chocolate) These normal high heels, and a jumbo bag of normal M&Ms, and a bottle of glue make up these chocolate shoes that are actually worn on the runway with a dress made of M&Ms and canvas! I would show you that but there are no pictures anywhere. I heard aboutit on Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

Then there is the Jelly Belly Factory and their own silliness. Anyone who sells a bag of Belly Flops, can not be taken seriously. LOL JK! Anyway, some workers at a Jelly Belly Factory decided to make a 3D portrait of Jelly Beans AKA, a sculpture. Hey look it’s Elvis!

Ped Egg Won’t Pop A Ballon! Or Will It?

I have decided to test a commercial to see if it’s true. My first victim: Ped Egg.  Ped Egg is a small hand held foot file that shaves off callouses and dead skin, making your feet baby bottom soft! It prevents mess by keeping your dead skin in it. It is easy to empty. Plus, it is so gentle, it won’t even pop a balloon! Well, I’m not so sure about this, so I’m going to test it.

Materials:

  • One Ped Egg
  • Two balloons

Procedure:

Step One:

Blow up both balloons. One small, one big.

Step Two:

Slowly rub the Ped Egg across them as if to your feet.

Conclusion:

Wow! I’m very surprised! Ped Egg was correct! I blew up one small balloon. and rubbed the Ped Egg  all over it for about two minutes, and it didn’t pop! I was so surprised! It did however leave marks on the balloon where it scratched off dirt I didn’t even know was there! Then for the bigger one. I rubbed the Ped Egg back and forth, across, diagonally, and all around, and it DIDN’T POP! I was so surprised! It is also so lightweight, that when I dropped the Ped Egg right on th balloon, it didn’t pop! Well, Ped Egg is a good product! I have also used it on my feet, and it makes them smoother! GO PED EGG!

Miley Cyrus Gets The Worst of Both Worlds

I am a Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana lover not hater. People need to give her a break. Yes some of her pictures are inappropriate. Yes they shouldn’t be all over the Internet. But tell me as a 15 year old girl, you didn’t do the same thing if not worse. Everyone does it, it’s just part of  growing up.

Wow this is so bad ! Hanging out with a friend. Eating candy. They are just being silly

Wow!
Lifting up her shirt and showing her stomach! How horrible! She’s just trying to look pretty! 15 year old girls have self esteem problems and are always taking pictures of themselves, and trying to be pretty. She has that problem along with the fact she famous!

Showing her bikini and bra. That is a fifteen year old girl for you. First off, the bikini one is just a MySpace photo! A cute picture she toke off herself when she felt pretty. Every girl age 14 to 25 does that! Why are you all over her about it! Then in the other one, she is trying to look sexy! Whether for her, her friends, or her boyfriend, she looks hot.

OK, this one I don’t even get! She’s laying on her bed in shorts and a short top. Big Whoop! The controversy over this is stupid!

Oh my GOSH!!! This is the worst one! SHE IS CUDDLING WITH HER BOYFRIEND! It is a crime. Arrest her and sentence her to death! You!Get the torches! YOU! Get the pitchforks!!!!!

This one, is very artistic and pretty. However, I don’t think Miley should of been the girl under the sheet. Vanity Fair, could of
choose any girl, and they choose Miley. Miley and her manager accepted the job, their mistake. But so what! She’s not naked!

All of this is really stupid. She is a 15 year old girl. Leave her alone. She is 15 year old actress and singer, FORGET ABOUT IT!

Pin Trading

Hey Yall! What’s going on? Lately I have been working on my new website thepintraitor.com   It is an online catalog of all my Disney pins. People can comment if they want to trade. It is really interesting. I found out that one of my really cool pins, is a COUNTERFEIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means someone not Disney, made it and sold it in bulk saying it was a Disney pin. This has all been really interesting. Check it out!

Apologizes…

O.K. I am sorry. Mainly to my cousin H and our friend N, but to all.

Jonas Brothers are not THAT bad. I am a David Archuleta fan and he is the same if not worse.

They are also the same as Miley Cyrus a tween sensation. I happen to like Miley Cyrus instead of the JoBros.

I honestly think there are only 3 reasons I don’t like them.

1st reason- I wasn’t really watching TV much when they first became popular. I was grounded and so kind of missed thier incoming. Everyone was talking about them and I was out of the loophole.

2nd reason- Their songs are ALWAYS on!!!!!!!!!!! More then anyone else I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They always have the number one song spot on Radio Disney. They are always on TV. Their movie is advertised on NICKELODEON and ABC and FAMILY channel!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3rd reason- I’m jealous. I believe my singing level is close to theirs, (kinda) but they are popular and I’m not. LOL JK! I just had to put that for my Aunt B! LOL :) :) :) :) :)

SO sorry again H I mean JoBro fans. You won’t hear from me again…

Thriller Hero

You have probably all heard of Guitar Hero. How could you not? It’s everywhere! Ask any kid or teen, and I bet you they’ve played it or had the chance to play it. Ask any adult, and they at-least know how to play or someone that owns a copy of the game. Heck, I bet you have played it a couple of times also.

Guitar Hero is a very addictive game. People can sit down to play a song or two and end up played for several hours. People sit down to play for several hour and play all day. It’s madness I tell you. MADNESS! There are like 400,000 sites with cheat codes, not to mention the books, magazines, and TV shows! People dedicate there life to Guitar Hero. The people who have a working spouse that is.

Well, some people got bored of Guitar Hero, and made a program that lets you play whatever song you want! Most of the videos of these are on YouTube so you can discover them. I found one to Micheal Jackson’s Thriller. There are no zombies or werewolves, but it is pretty cool. Click here to see it. It can be kind of boring since it’s just a screen shot of people playing. However, it’s sort of interesting and you get to here the song! What’s better than listening to Thriller?
