Chaos Killed The Dinosaurs, Darling

After using the term, and constantly referring to the personality type, it was time for me to watch Heathers.

I have to admit, Heathers was not what I expected! I was expecting just another teen drama that had famous actors in it, so was remembered twenty years later. I was so wrong!

This movie is about a group of snobby girls three of which are named Heather, the other Veronica. They torment everybody, but are still worshiped. Veronica decides she doesn’t like it. She starts to rebel against her own group, when she gets a psychotic boyfriend whoshe groups up with to murder and make it look suicidal. After the main Heather, and two football players “commit suicide” the role of snobby leader just gets handed off to another Heather.

The movie moves along well because of it’s great script. It features familiar quotes like:

  • If you were happy every day of your life you wouldn’t be a human being. You’d be a game-show host.
  • You think I’ll drink it just because you call me chicken…? Just gimmie the cup, jerk.
  • I love my dead gay son.
  • It’s so great to be able to talk to a girl and not have to ask “What’s your major?”. I hate that. So, when you go to college, what subjects do you think you’ll study?
  • This may seem like a really stupid question…
    There are no stupid questions.
You inherit 5 million dollars the same day aliens land on the earth and say they’re going to blow it up in 2 days. What do you do?
That’s the stupidest question I’ve ever heard.
  • Chaos killed the dinosaurs, darling.

I love those quotes!
Follow the high school brats in their movie that not only serves as entertainment, but features life lessons.

Thanks for reading my Mini Movie Review!

Mid Sequim Report

I’ve been here for just over a week now, and have done SO much stuff! I’ve done lots of crafts, including decoupaging a big Z for my wall, painting a birdhouse, grouting, painting rocks, scrapbooking, and sewing a sundress. It has been so much fun! We also went to a place were you can paint ceramics, which I’ve done so we did clay instead! You buy a pound of clay for twelve dollars an make whatever you want! Then they fire it, you come back to paint it, and they fire it again. All for twelve dollars!

We followed a very simple pattern to make a birdhouse. They have tons of stamps to decorate your house. I did mine celestial themed. It has suns and clouds on one side, and moons and stars on the other side. There is a 3d roof of layered stars, and a half moon handle. All ofthat came from my own mind!!!!!

Wednesday, we went raspberry picking. Today is a very busy day, we are going back to paint those bird houses, and are going to a Scribes meeting, where you do crafts practicing calligraphy. Sunday, we are going to the beach to pick up driftwood.

During the evening, we play poker. Texas Hold Em to be specific. It is really fun. So far my trip to Sequim Washington has been a blast!

Beyond Calories Drops Pounds!

I know someone who is on that diet called Beyond Calories! It is a ten day diet. Here is how it is set up. There are four food groups. You eat six meals a day. Here is what the “meals” for Day One are:

  • Two foods from group one
  • Two foods from group two
  • One food from group two AND one food from group four
  • Three foods from group three AND one food from group two
  • Two foods from group one
  • Two foods from group one

This sounds very repetitive, but each group has at least twenty five different choices in it. You also don’t  have to eat the meals in order, you can eat meal five for breakfast and meal three for dinner, or however you please. There is also no portion size. If one of your meals is apples and sea bass, you can have as many apples and as much sea bass as you want. However, you should probably only eat half of what you would normally have because you are now having six meals instead of three.

You can also have drinks throughout the day. You can have any type of diet soda. Coffee as long as it’s traditional and you only use creamer and artificial sweeteners. Iced tea. (Lemon is OK) Water of course, and any other drink with less than ten calories.

The only other rule, is to stay away from the twelve worst foods for you. Here they are:

  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • French Fries
  • Real Ice Cream
  • Pizza
  • Cake
  • Pie
  • Breaded Meats
  • Chocolate
  • Excessive Bread
  • Cookies
  • Pastries

Well that’s all there is to this diet. Pretty simple huh! The person I know that is doing  this is so happy because he has lost ten pounds already and it is only his seventh day! Go him. And the best part, he isn’t even exercising! This diet sounds really cool to me!

Mini Movie Review

Hey, I  have decided to start doing mini reviews on movies. Here’s my first one:

Fab Five: The  Texas Cheerleader Scandal (2008) (TV)

This movie is based on a true story. Most humans, have experienced part of that story in junior high or high school. Cheerleaders. Bratty, stuck up, Heathers. Everyone has always hated the cheerleaders. Sometimes, they hate themselves also. Though not usually, because everything is entitled to them, they have power, and never make mistakes.

This movie takes it to the next level. These cheerleaders get away with everything including cutting class, using cell phones during class, disobeying all teachers, drinking on school campus, and putting a nasty inappropriate video of them all over the web. In this video, they are in an adult store, drinking, and in there cheerleading uniforms being inappropriate. Their new coach tries as hard as she can to disipline them but is having trouble because the clique’s leader, is the principal’s daughter.

I’m not sure why it’s a scandal though. Nobody I have asked seems to know either. There is no murder, although many people thought so. I is a drama. That is why it was on Lifetime. It is a good movie if you like drama and catfights, and have nothing else to watch. I would agree with it’s rating of PG14.

Tonight, is BREAKOUT!

Miley Cyrus’s new CD Breakout is so awesome! I have been listening to it all day non-stop! According to  her, this CD is very personal. It definatly is different. It’s like she is becoming Miley and leaving behing Hannah Montana. It is ver much her own and completely different then her first CD! I like it!

The first song is Breakout. It talks about breaking out of monotnous life of school, chores, parents and going Summer. Summer, the fun time where you let go and feel free. The song is very reppetitive.

The next song is 7 Things. One I really like.  It is her talking to her boyfriend telling him how she feels.  First she explains the 7 things she hates about him. then she gets happy and says the 7 things she likes abut him. It’s a good song with a beat that makes it good anytime!

The third song is called the Driveway. It’s about her breaking up with her boyfriend. She explains how they are different and aren’t good for eachother. It has a mellow beat. Good for going to sleep or to sing to when your feeling bad.

The next one is another of my favorites. Girls Just Want To Have Fun. A cover of Cindy Lauper’s fun upbeat song. She adds a touch of rock to the song fitting in nicely.

The next song has a beat you just tap your feet to. Full Circle. It’s about her trying to keep her boyfriend. She is trying to convince him to stay with her and won’t give up!

Fly on the Wall is the sixth song. It is about a guy wanting to always watch her and want to know what she’s doing with her friends.  He wants to know if she is flirting with aother guys to see if she can be honest.

Bottom of the Ocean is next. It is about her upset and hurt feelings after her boyfriend broke up with her. This is a slow song. Very mellow and sad.

The next song gets stuck in your head but has a good message! It’s called WAKE UP America! It’s about saving the Earth, preventing Global Warming, getting off your butt and doing something.

Four Walls is th next song. I don’t get this song. I can’t transelate the meaning. It is another slow song that I don’t happen to like.

Simple Song is next. This song it is not bad. It is about pushing off stress and seeing how simple life is. Her voice sounds alot different in this song.

The next song is Goodbye. It does not fit this CD well. To slow and way to mellow. I keep skipping it. It’s another song about her feeling sad about the breakup. She is taking about remembering all the details of thier relationship.

See You Again and old song is next, but it is the Rock Mafia Mix. I think it is cool. It is quicker and more up beat!

I like this CD. The only problem is that is has bad transitions. I reccomend getting it for a Miley Cyrus fan, a fan of both slow and fast music, or a pop fan.

Ped Egg Won’t Pop A Ballon! Or Will It?

I have decided to test a commercial to see if it’s true. My first victim: Ped Egg.  Ped Egg is a small hand held foot file that shaves off callouses and dead skin, making your feet baby bottom soft! It prevents mess by keeping your dead skin in it. It is easy to empty. Plus, it is so gentle, it won’t even pop a balloon! Well, I’m not so sure about this, so I’m going to test it.

Materials:

  • One Ped Egg
  • Two balloons

Procedure:

Step One:

Blow up both balloons. One small, one big.

Step Two:

Slowly rub the Ped Egg across them as if to your feet.

Conclusion:

Wow! I’m very surprised! Ped Egg was correct! I blew up one small balloon. and rubbed the Ped Egg  all over it for about two minutes, and it didn’t pop! I was so surprised! It did however leave marks on the balloon where it scratched off dirt I didn’t even know was there! Then for the bigger one. I rubbed the Ped Egg back and forth, across, diagonally, and all around, and it DIDN’T POP! I was so surprised! It is also so lightweight, that when I dropped the Ped Egg right on th balloon, it didn’t pop! Well, Ped Egg is a good product! I have also used it on my feet, and it makes them smoother! GO PED EGG!

WOW!

Man have I had a crazy couple of weeks! My dad and I went to Hard Rock Park in South Carolina as a surprise. We were one of the first riders on a ride called POny Express at Knott’s Berry Farm. My mom and I slept overnight in Magic Mountain, and were one of the first riders to ride X2. Here is a brief summary of them.

South Carolina was awesome! My dad and I flew out there for 5 days. We went to a small park called Family Kingdom. That was really fun. We also went to grand opening of Hard Rock Park.  It was amazingly themed! Disneyland level theming! Everything was music! Their front gate restaraunt is The Whammy Bar, they have the Guitar in the Stone, themed rides, and rockin’ mascots! It was so cool! What a cool experiance!\

Pony Express at Knott’s Berry Farm was cool, but not… We got to stay in the Knott’s Berry Hotel vs. Motel 6. Cool. We ate breakfast at a GREAT restaraunt! We got to get in early in the morning. There was a huge continental breakfast. Then it got bad.  Kiss FM winners got to ride before us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, we get to ride. While in line, we were interviewed. Then we got on. What a bad ride! You sit in an uncomfortable position with a bar squishing your back. The ride starts with a nice launch, then slows and ends. It is like a 20 second ride! Bad.

The next weekend, my mom and I had a great experiance! We drove all the way to LA in 4 hours, when average is 5and a half hours! We only had 1 bathroom break. We got there, and got to ride X2 for an hour. IT WAS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch this video to see! We then set up camp and went to bad on the sand after some free midnight snacks. The next morning, we got a HUGE buffet breakfast, and got to ride again. Wow was it great! We also got Flash Passes for all day on the ride! How cool!

I have had a great couple of weeks, and thank you Mommy and Dad for helping and sharing it with me!

Hannah Montana In My Pocket

Today, when I got home from school, my dad had a surprise for me. At Rite- Aid, while waiting in line, he saw some flashy packages of cards. One of which, were Hannah Montana sticker cards!

Since I really like Hannah Montana (who doesn’t) he got them for me.

I picked my 4 favorite out of the 7. The one in the top right corner is Jackson doing his hair. The one in the upper left hand corner is Roxy as Hannah’s guardian angel. The bottom left corner is my favorite. Hannah and “Lola” making up and hugging while handcuffed. The bottom right hand corner is Miley looking adorable!

If you get lucky, there are foil stickers(1:3), glitter stickers(1:6), and mega stickers(1:2). I was somewhat lucky. I got a foil sticker which wasn’t very impressive but was shiny!

Waffle Woman’s First Caper: Longhouse

Yes you read correctly. I am now WAFFLE WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I travel restaurant to restaurant exploring the tastes of waffles and writing reviews. My first caper: Longhouse Pancake House in Gilroy, CA. After peering at the menu, I was ready to order. One Belgian Waffle.
I sat at the table a little longer with my awesome sidekick Peanut Butter Boy, waiting for our food. Suddenly, my waffle senses were tingling. The food was on it’s way. It was near. All of a sudden it popped into action on the table in front of me. I caught it with my fork and knife, before it could run away. Before devouring it, an examination was in play. Big, thick, square, and deep pockets full of nooks and crannies. Tired of looking and extremely hungry, I slapped a slab of butter and a pour of syrup on and started cutting. One bite in, I couldn’t control myself. I quickly cut and ate, cut and ate, cut and ate. Soon it was all gone.
I have to say … it was a pretty good waffle. I would give it a four and a half star rating. Definitely a waffle to try. Well tune in next time for THE ADVENTURES OF WAFFLE WOMAN!

The Country Way

On my trip to the track with my dad. We stopped in Fremont for breakfast. We came to this little restaurant called The Country Way. We decided to go there. It was fairly busy inside but we were seated in about 5 minutes. I looked at the menu and decided I wanted the pancakes with eggs and sausage. (bacon and ham were also choices) It was $7.15. ($5.15 on weekdays) My dad got Corned Beef Hash and eggs for $7.55.

While waiting for my food, we played a game with butter. We got one packet of butter and hit it back and forth to each other until I hit it to the lady’s foot sitting next to us. We were kind of embarrassed but got over i t when our food came. It looked so good. (For pics, see my last post here)

Unfortunately, it looked better than it tasted. My pancakes and eggs were really nothing special. In fact, they were kind of dry.The orange juice I ordered didn’t help. It tasted like orange Kool-Aid. However, the sausage was DELICIOUS! It was the bet part of my breakfast by far.

In conclusion, The Country Way is an alright place. With cool decor, and O.K. food. I would say it is a good place to go to, but don’t go out of your way to try it.
